The Laundry Babe – Consent & Liability Agreement

Thank you for choosing The Laundry Babe! Please review the following terms before we begin service.

Care Restrictions

- We do not accept dry-clean items.

- We cannot process items contaminated with bodily fluids (urine, feces, vomit, etc.).

- Oversized or damaged items that may harm equipment may be refused.

Cleaning Process

- Unless otherwise specified, all items will be machine washed and machine dried.

- Items are inspected for stains, but some stains may be overlooked or remain after treatment.

- Despite our sanitation procedures, traces of detergent or softener may remain.

Bag & Sorting Policy

-All laundry must be provided in a standard 13-gallon garbage bag or equivalent laundry bag.

-If laundry is not provided in a 13-gallon bag. I will sort and portion items to determine the correct bag amount for procesing.

-Additional fees may apply if oversized containers or excessive loose items require extra handling.

Damage & Loss

- Any missing or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

- Eligible replacement value may be provided up to $100 per order.

- We are not responsible for normal wear and tear, shrinkage, or manufacturer defects.

- We are not liable for items before pickup or after delivery.

-We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the clothing such as money, jewelry or other personal effects. We are also not responsible for items left in clothing (ink pen, marker, lip balm, etc.) that may result in damage to clothing during processing. Customers agree to not leave such items in the clothing at pick up.

Payments & Non-Payment

- Laundry will not be delivered until full payment is received.

- Unpaid orders will be held for 14 days. After this period, items may be donated, sold, or retained at our discretion.

Cancellations

- Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour prior to pickup/delivery.

- Late cancellations may result in a required $20 deposit before booking future service.

Media Consent

- Unless you opt out in writing, we may photograph or film laundry items, the cleaning process, and related content for marketing and advertising.

- Undergarments will never be recorded, photographed, or shared.

Right to Refuse

- We reserve the right to refuse service to any client or item at our discretion.
